The Sandhills Motoring Club::NextGen program is dedicated to inspiring and engaging the next generation of automotive enthusiasts by connecting high school students with the passion, heritage, and community of motoring. Through hands-on experiences, mentorship, and active participation in club events, NextGen fosters a deeper appreciation for cars, motorsports, and the culture that surrounds them.

We are committed to developing responsible, community-minded individuals by encouraging volunteerism, leadership, and service, while providing opportunities for personal growth and future pathways. NextGen exists to ensure that the spirit of motoring continues to thrive by empowering young enthusiasts to become the stewards, innovators, and leaders of tomorrow.

Membership

Membership in the Sandhills Motoring Club::NextGen program is offered at no cost, with no fees or dues required to participate. In return, members are encouraged to actively engage with the club by volunteering their time and efforts at Sandhills Motoring Club events and throughout the Sandhills Motoring Expo. Through this involvement, students have the opportunity to earn valuable community service hours – an important requirement for high school graduation – while gaining hands-on experience, building connections, and contributing to the success of the motoring community.

The Sandhills Motoring Club::NextGen program is open to high school students ages 14 – 18 who have a genuine interest in automobiles, motorsports, and community involvement. Membership is designed to be accessible and engaging, with an expectation that participants will actively contribute their time and efforts through club activities, events, and the Sandhills Motoring Expo. All members are expected to uphold a high standard of conduct, representing Sandhills Motoring with professionalism, respect, and enthusiasm in all interactions. For participants under the age of 18, parental or guardian consent is required. Through this framework, NextGen establishes a structured yet welcoming environment where students can grow, contribute, and become an integral part of the motoring community.
