Club Donation for 2023
For 2023, the Sandhills Motoring Club selected The Foundation of FirstHealth for our charitable donation.
SMC donated the amount of $500 to the Foundation for FirstHealth Hospice.
Why did we select the Foundation of FirstHealth? Our club founder, Chris, lost his Mother, Aunt, and Brother, to cancer in 2021 and 2022. FirstHealth Hospice provided care for his Mother, and Aunt, and their entire staff were extremely helpful, kind, and caring during those times of hardship. Their support will never be forgotten. The Foundation also supports Palliative Care, as well as Cancer Care Funds, and we feel this excellent organization is ideal to support in return.
