NC Transportation Museum Day Trip

Saturday, August 22nd

10am to 4:30pm

The N.C. Transportation Museum is a historic site and museum highlighting North Carolina’s important transportation history including railroading, automotive, aviation, and more.

We will depart from 90 Aviemore Drive in Pinehurst. Please gather in the parking lot between 9:45am and 10am. We will leave Pinehurst at 10am and take some select backcountry roads up to Salisbury, approximately a 1hr 45min drive.

We will first stop for lunch Hendrix Barbecue at 12pm, then head over to the Transportation Museum immediately following lunch. The museum is about 1.5 miles from Hendrix BBQ. Lunch is on you, the museum admission is on the Club!

The museum takes about two hours to go through. We will have “straight home” directions for everyone for the main roads back to town.
